Learn and Network with Other Young Professionals in Economic Development

The North Carolina Economic Development Association (NCEDA)’s Emerging Executive Initiative is designed to deepen the knowledge of young economic development professionals, increase their familiarity with other aspects of economic development and policymaking in North Carolina, participate in focused professional educational opportunities, and forge connections with their peers in our state’s economic development circles.

North Carolina young professionals in economic development are encouraged to attend NCEDA conferences and other events, many of which include specialized tracks for Emerging Executives Initiative participants, as well as our annual Emerging Executives Forum, which is focused on sharpening their knowledge and skills.

If you’re at the beginning of your economic development career, don’t miss these opportunities to become a more effective and confident professional! For more information, contact
