NCEDA members benefit in many ways, including education and training, opportunities to expand their personal networks of economic development professionals, gaining skills and knowledge for career advancement, and the satisfaction of affecting legislative actions related to economic development and North Carolina’s economy.
Even more important, members have the opportunity to develop lasting relationships with their fellow professionals throughout the state, giving them important connections for developing future projects, resources for advice and ideas, mentors to help them sharpen their skills, and all the benefits of friendly fellowship with like-minded people.
